10 Myths About Breastfeeding, Exercise, & Diet

Near the end of my pregnancy, I dreamed of jumping rope.  I couldn't WAIT until I could work on losing my baby weight.  After a few weeks and medical clearance, I resumed HIIT workouts, and lost most of my weight without much effort.  Like many new moms, I worried about how exercise and diet would effect my newly-built milk supply.  Armed with an iPad and time to kill while my newborn ate, I read up on the subject.  Here is what I found:

A NEW MOM'S BABY PREPARATION GUIDE: REGISTRY TIPS, PRE-BABY & POST BABY TIPS, BOOKS, & MORE

This guide is the product of emails I sent to friends, recommendations my friends made, websites I came across, many, many  amazon reviews that I read, & my experiences.  When I refer to the baby, I mostly say he/his, because I have a boy, but obviously this all applies for girls too.  If you want to bypass all of my opinions, you can head to my store to see my registry picks.

Everyone will give you advice, but ignore it all if you want!  That also goes for anything in this guide.  If you ask 10 moms how they feel about something, chances are you'll get 10 different answers.  You'll do what works for you & your baby.  I like to hear people’s opinions on things, & pick what works for me.  Same with books...I've read quite a few by now, & I look at what they suggest as tools to try rather than adhering to certain parenting methods.  All of our babies are different, so what works for one of us may not work for another.

330 REP 3RD TRIMESTER LIVING ROOM WORKOUT

As I approach my due date & grow larger by the minute, working out is not something I've been excited to do.  However, I'm always glad after I have done something.  I haven't been going to yoga, but I'm walking 1-3 times as week, stretching at home, & squeezing in some squats/push-ups.  Here's an easy workout I did last night at home:
